The TYTAX S7 is a compact multi-function training system designed for full-body strength and functional training with 550+ exercise options. It uses a built-in internal weight-stack resistance system, so resistance is integrated inside the machine instead of requiring a large plate-loaded setup.

The S7 is ideal for users who want the TYTAX workout experience in a smaller footprint. Its foldable construction makes it easier to fit into everyday home spaces, including near a wall when room layout matters.

Who is the S7 best for?

The S7 is best for users who want a full-body TYTAX machine for home gyms, apartments, bedrooms, living rooms, or personal training spaces where floor space is a priority.

Compared with larger TYTAX models like the T1-X and T3-X, the S7 focuses on efficient strength, functional, upper-body, lower-body, and core training in a simpler compact setup.

Highlights

550+ exercises — train your entire body: chest, back, shoulders, arms, core, glutes, and legs.

Built-in internal weight-stack resistance system — resistance is integrated inside the machine, with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb.

Versatile built-in training options — includes built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulleys, lever-based leg and calf training, roller-lever exercises for hamstrings, quadriceps, back, abs, hip abduction and adduction, specialist stretching movements, preacher curl exercises with lever and cable resistance, pull-ups, and assisted pull-ups with reduced bodyweight load.

Foldable construction — designed for quick and convenient storage after training.

Heavy-duty build — machine weight approx. 620 lb without additional equipment.

Optional Olympic bar training — when purchased with the additional OB option, the S7 can also support Olympic barbell exercises.

Dimensions and space requirements

Machine dimensions: 6 ft 6.7 in long × 3 ft 3.4 in wide × 7 ft 2.6 in high.

Minimum room size for exercising: 8 ft 2.4 in long × 4 ft 11.1 in wide × 7 ft 2.6 in high.

Stored after training: 6 ft 6.7 in long × 2 ft 11.4 in wide.

The largest footprint is required during exercise because the training area needs additional working space. After training, the S7 can be folded into its storage position to reduce the required footprint.

Weight plates, Olympic barbell, EZ curl bar, dumbbells, racks, and other external free-weight equipment are sold separately. The standard S7 includes handles, grips, cable attachments, and machine attachments needed for standard-version exercises.

What makes the TYTAX S7 different from the TX models?

The TYTAX S7 is the compact, foldable alternative to the larger TYTAX TX models. It is built around 1 training station, 550+ exercise options, built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulley work, lever-based training options, and an internal weight-stack resistance system with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb.

The TX models are larger plate-loaded machines designed for broader expandability, heavier loading, and more simultaneous training capacity. The T2-X offers 2 training stations and 1200+ exercises; the T1-X offers 4 training stations, 1600+ exercises, and capacity for up to 3 people; and the T3-X offers 8 training stations, 1600+ exercises, and capacity for up to 7 people.

The biggest practical difference is footprint. The S7 needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in of workout space, or about 40 sq ft. The T1-X needs about 129 sq ft, so the S7 uses about 89 sq ft less workout floor area, or roughly 69% less than the T1-X. Compared with the T3-X at about 215 sq ft, the S7 uses about 175 sq ft less, or roughly 81% less minimum workout floor area.

Choose the S7 if compact placement, integrated resistance, built-in butterfly-style training, and one-person full-body workouts are the priority. Choose a TX model if you want a larger plate-loaded platform with a Smith Machine, more stations, higher loading potential, broader add-on paths, and multi-user training.

How is the S7 different from the T1-X?

The S7 is much more compact than the T1-X and is designed for one person training at a time. The S7 has 1 training station, 550+ exercise options, built-in butterfly arms, and an internal weight-stack resistance system. The T1-X is the larger premium flagship TYTAX system with 4 training stations, 1600+ exercise options, and capacity for up to 3 people training at the same time, depending on the workout setup.

One of the biggest differences is resistance and loading potential. The S7 uses a compact adjustable resistance system with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. The T1-X is a plate-loaded strength system with much higher loading potential: the Smith Machine supports up to 440 lb on the side sleeves, can be expanded up to 770 lb with a TSM-style horizontal connector setup, and each rear cable pulley carriage supports up to 350 lb.

The leg and calf training feel is also different. The T1-X uses the Smith Machine, vertical and horizontal sliding carriage setup, and movable bench on rails for guided movements such as horizontal leg press, vertical leg press, and calf raises. The S7 can also be used for leg press and calf-focused work, but these movements are performed through its lever-based resistance system, so the mechanics and training feel are different.

Butterfly training is another practical difference. On the S7, butterfly arms are included as part of the standard machine setup. On the T1-X, classic butterfly training is available through Option A — Butterfly Arms, an optional add-on for Pec Deck and Reverse Pec Deck exercises.

The T1-X also supports cardio-style expansion options that are not available on the S7, including RM, PRM rowing / cardio training, and PR-X power-runner style training. The S7 focuses more on compact full-body strength training, integrated resistance, pulleys, built-in butterfly arms, lever-based leg and calf movements, roller-lever work, preacher curl work, pull-ups, and assisted pull-ups.

The space difference is major. The S7 needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. The T1-X needs about 13 ft 1.4 in × 9 ft 10.1 in, or about 129 sq ft. That means the T1-X needs about 89 sq ft more workout floor area, or roughly 220% more minimum workout space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 69% less floor area than the T1-X.

Ceiling height is closer. The S7 is about 7 ft 2.6 in high, while the T1-X is about 7 ft 4.6 in high, so the T1-X is only about 2 in taller.

Choose the S7 if you want a compact single-user machine with a much smaller footprint, integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, and easier placement in a regular room. Choose the T1-X if you want a larger flagship setup with multi-user training, 4 training stations, plate-loaded strength options, a Smith Machine, guided sliding-carriage leg press and calf training, much higher loading potential, and broader add-on paths.

How is the S7 different from the T2-X?

The S7 and T2-X are both more compact than the larger T1-X and T3-X, but they are built around different training concepts. The S7 is a compact single-user machine with 1 training station, 550+ exercise options, built-in butterfly arms, and an internal weight-stack resistance system. The T2-X is a compact TX-line plate-loaded machine with 2 training stations, 1200+ exercises, and capacity for up to 2 people training at the same time.

The S7 is designed for integrated resistance and compact storage. Its standard setup includes built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulley work, lever-based leg and calf training, roller-lever movements, preacher curl work, pull-ups, and assisted pull-ups. The T2-X follows the TX platform direction: more plate-loaded training, a Smith Machine-style training concept, and a more expandable multi-station feel than the S7.

The S7 is the better choice when saving space and keeping the setup simple are the main priorities. It needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space, and it can be folded after training. The T2-X is better when you want a compact TX model with two stations, plate-loaded training, and more of the TX-line training feel.

The T2-X does not follow the same built-in butterfly-arm approach as the S7. If classic butterfly training is important and you want it integrated into the standard machine, the S7 is the more direct choice. If you prefer a compact plate-loaded TX setup with more station capacity than the S7, choose the T2-X.

How is the S7 different from the T3-X?

The S7 is the compact single-station model, while the T3-X is the largest professional TYTAX model. The S7 has 1 training station and 550+ exercise options. The T3-X has 8 training stations, 1600+ exercise options, and capacity for up to 7 people training at the same time, depending on the workout setup.

The training platform is completely different. The S7 uses an internal weight-stack resistance system with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. The T3-X is a larger plate-loaded professional strength system with a Smith Machine, cable pulley stations, multiple dedicated training areas, and a much broader layout for strength, functional, and facility-style training.

The T3-X also adds training areas that the S7 does not provide, including an abdominal leg-raise / knee-raise station, parallel dip bars, a lever station for lower-body and shoulder work, and a hanging leg-raise / roller station for abdominal work and hamstring training.

Butterfly training works differently. On the S7, butterfly arms are included as part of the standard machine setup. On the T3-X, classic butterfly training is available through Option A — Butterfly Arms, an optional add-on for Pec Deck and Reverse Pec Deck exercises.

The space difference is very large. The S7 needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. The T3-X needs about 16 ft 4.9 in × 13 ft 1.5 in, or about 215 sq ft. That means the T3-X needs about 175 sq ft more floor area, or roughly 438% more minimum workout space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 81% less minimum workout floor area than the T3-X.

Ceiling height is closer than floor space. The S7 is about 7 ft 2.6 in high, while the T3-X is about 7 ft 4.6 in high, so the T3-X is only about 2 in taller.

Choose the S7 if you want compact one-person training, integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, and a machine that is easier to place in a regular room. Choose the T3-X if you want a professional multi-user setup with 8 training stations, a Smith Machine, multiple dedicated training areas, plate-loaded strength options, and maximum facility-style capacity.

How is the S7 different from the MX?

The S7 and MX are both compact TYTAX alternatives to the largest TX models, but they train differently. The S7 is built around 1 training station, 550+ exercise options, an internal weight-stack resistance system, built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulleys, and lever-based training options. The MX is built around 2 independent training arms and offers 2 training stations, allowing up to 2 people to train at the same time.

The S7 is better if you want a simpler one-person setup with integrated resistance and built-in butterfly arms as part of the standard machine. The MX is stronger if you want independent dual-arm training as the core training concept and a compact machine that can support two users in selected setups.

The footprint comparison favors the S7. The S7 needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. The MX needs about 13 ft 2 in × 6 ft 7 in, or about 87 sq ft. That means the MX needs about 47 sq ft more floor area, or roughly 118% more minimum workout space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 54% less minimum workout floor area than the MX.

Ceiling height is the opposite comparison. The S7 is about 7 ft 2.6 in high, while the MX is about 6 ft 10.7 in high, so the S7 needs about 3.9 in more ceiling clearance than the MX.

Choose the S7 if you want compact foldable storage, integrated resistance, standard butterfly-arm training, and a smaller floor footprint. Choose the MX if independent arm training, two-person training capacity, lower machine height, and a dual-arm training feel are more important than having the smallest floor footprint.

How is the S7 different from the H9?

The S7 is a compact foldable TYTAX machine with 550+ exercise options, 1 training station, built-in butterfly arms, and an internal weight-stack resistance system. The H9 is a more budget-friendly TYTAX machine with 100+ exercises, 2 training stations, a Smith Machine, and selected workout setups that can allow up to 3 people to train at the same time.

The biggest difference is the training platform. The S7 focuses on compact integrated resistance and built-in specialized exercise options such as butterfly arms, upper and lower pulleys, lever-based leg and calf training, roller-lever movements, preacher curl work, pull-ups, and assisted pull-ups. The H9 follows a Smith Machine-centered path and uses the same Smith Machine loading logic as the T1-X: up to 440 lb on the side sleeves, with an extended loading option up to 770 lb using a TSM-style horizontal connector / additional sleeve setup.

The S7 has the lower built-in resistance ceiling, with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. The H9 has higher barbell-style loading potential through the Smith Machine and rear cable pulley carriages that support about 220 lb each. That makes the H9 stronger for Smith Machine and heavier barbell-style work, while the S7 is more focused on compact integrated resistance and built-in exercise variety.

Butterfly training is also different. On the S7, butterfly arms are included as part of the standard machine setup. The H9 does not offer Butterfly Arms either as standard equipment or as an optional add-on, so if classic built-in butterfly-style training matters, the S7 is the better choice.

The S7 is also more compact. The S7 needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. The H9 needs recommended workout room dimensions of about 134 in × 106 in, or about 99 sq ft. That means the H9 needs about 59 sq ft more workout floor area, or roughly 148% more floor space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 60% less workout floor area than the H9.

Price and use case are different too. The S7 is priced at $4,999, while the H9 is priced at $4,199. That means the H9 costs about $800 less, or roughly 16% less than the S7. The H9 is the more budget-friendly Smith Machine option; the S7 costs more but gives you built-in butterfly arms, foldable compact placement, and a different integrated-resistance training style.

Choose the S7 if you want the smallest footprint, foldable compact storage, integrated resistance, and built-in butterfly-style training. Choose the H9 if you want a more budget-friendly TYTAX setup with Smith Machine training, higher barbell-style loading potential, and selected multi-user workout possibilities.

Who is the TYTAX S7 best for?

The TYTAX S7 is best for users who want a compact full-body TYTAX machine for home gyms, apartments, bedrooms, living rooms, personal training spaces, or any everyday room where floor space matters. It is the best fit when you want one-person training, 550+ exercise options, integrated resistance, and a setup that is easier to place than the larger TX models.

The S7 is a strong choice if you want a compact machine with built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulley work, lever-based leg and calf training, roller-lever movements, preacher curl work, pull-ups, assisted pull-ups, and a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. It is built for practical full-body training without needing a large plate-loaded multi-station setup.

Compared with the T1-X, the S7 is better if compact size and integrated resistance are more important than maximum loading capacity, multi-user training, or the larger flagship upgrade path. The T1-X offers 4 training stations, 1600+ exercises, capacity for up to 3 people, a Smith Machine, guided sliding-carriage leg press and calf training, and broader add-ons such as RM, PRM, and PR-X. The S7 is the better fit when you want a much smaller one-person setup with standard butterfly-style training already built in.

Compared with the T2-X, the S7 is better if you want a single compact machine with built-in resistance and foldable storage instead of a compact TX-line plate-loaded system. The T2-X gives you 2 training stations, 1200+ exercises, and capacity for up to 2 people, so it is better if you want more TX-line training feel and more station capacity.

Compared with the T3-X, the S7 is for the opposite use case. The T3-X is a professional multi-user system with 8 training stations, 1600+ exercises, and capacity for up to 7 people in larger rooms, studios, schools, athletic departments, and facility-style spaces. The S7 is better when you want a compact home-focused setup rather than a large professional training platform.

Compared with the MX, the S7 is better if you want the smallest floor footprint, integrated resistance, and built-in butterfly arms. The MX is better if independent dual-arm training, 2 training stations, up to 2 people training at the same time, and lower machine height matter more than having the smallest floor footprint.

Compared with the H9, the S7 is better if you want a more compact foldable machine with built-in butterfly-style training and integrated resistance. The H9 is better if you want a more budget-friendly TYTAX machine with a Smith Machine, 100+ exercises, 2 training stations, selected setups for up to 3 people, and higher barbell-style loading potential.

The S7 is also best when room planning is tight. It needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. That is about 69% less floor area than the T1-X at about 129 sq ft, about 81% less than the T3-X at about 215 sq ft, about 54% less than the MX at about 87 sq ft, and about 60% less than the H9 at about 99 sq ft. Its height is about 7 ft 2.6 in.

In practical terms, choose the S7 if you want a compact, foldable, one-person TYTAX machine with integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, a small workout footprint, and full-body training in a regular home space. Choose T1-X, T2-X, T3-X, MX, or H9 instead if you need more stations, more users, plate-loaded Smith Machine training, independent dual-arm training, higher loading potential, a lower price point, or a larger long-term expansion path.
