Built-in internal weight-stack resistance system — resistance is integrated inside the machine, with a maximum adjustable load of 176 lb.

Versatile built-in training options — includes built-in butterfly arms, high- and low-pulley exercises, upper- and lower-angle cable crossover movements, lever-based leg and calf presses, roller-lever exercises for hamstrings, quadriceps, back, abs, hip abduction and adduction, specialist stretching movements, preacher curl training, including lever and cable-resisted variations, pull-ups, and assisted pull-ups with reduced bodyweight load.

Foldable construction — designed for quick and convenient storage after training.

Heavy-duty build — machine weight 750 lb without additional equipment.

Optional Olympic bar training — when purchased with the additional OB option, the S7 can also support Olympic barbell exercises.

Dimensions and space requirements

Machine dimensions: 6 ft 6.7 in long × 3 ft 3.4 in wide × 7 ft 2.6 in high.

Minimum room size for exercising: 8 ft 2.4 in long × 4 ft 11.1 in wide × 7 ft 2.6 in high.

Stored after training: 6 ft 6.7 in long × 2 ft 11.4 in wide.

The largest footprint is required during exercise because the training area needs additional working space. After training, the S7 can be folded into its storage position to reduce the required floor space.

Weight plates, Olympic barbell, EZ curl bar, dumbbells, racks, and other external free-weight equipment are sold separately. The standard S7 includes the handles and attachments needed for its standard exercises.

What makes the TYTAX S7 different from the TX models?

The TYTAX S7 is the compact foldable TYTAX option for users who want full-body training in a much smaller footprint than the larger TX-line machines. It is designed for one-person training in a regular home space, with built-in butterfly arms and an internal resistance system.

The S7 has 1 training station and 550+ exercise options, and it is designed primarily for compact one-person training. The T2-X has 2 training stations, 1050+ exercise options, and can support up to 2 people in selected setups. The T1-X has 4 training stations, 1600+ exercise options, and can support up to 3 people. The T3-X has 8 training stations, 1600+ exercise options, and can support up to 7 people. The TX models also add Smith Machine training, higher loading potential, and larger training footprints.

The S7 is strongest when compact placement matters. It needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. The T2-X needs about 97 sq ft, the T1-X needs about 129 sq ft, and the T3-X needs about 215 sq ft. That means the S7 needs about 58% less floor area than the T2-X, about 69% less floor area than the T1-X, and about 81% less floor area than the T3-X.

The S7 uses integrated adjustable resistance, with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb, and has a machine weight of about 750 lb. It is better for compact one-person training than for large multi-user or high-load plate-loaded training.

The standard S7 setup is not a barbell-focused machine and does not include a Smith Machine. However, when purchased with the additional OB option, the S7 can also support Olympic barbell exercises. This makes OB a useful add-on if you want to add barbell-style training possibilities while keeping the compact S7 footprint.

Choose the S7 if you want the smallest TYTAX footprint, built-in butterfly arms, integrated resistance, and foldable one-station training. Choose a TX-line model if you want a Smith Machine, more stations, more users, higher loading potential, rear cable-pulley capability, or broader expansion options.

How is the S7 different from the T1-X?

The S7 and T1-X are very different TYTAX machines. The S7 is compact, foldable, and designed around integrated resistance for one-person training. The T1-X is a premium flagship multi-station machine with a Smith Machine, rear cable stations, and much broader training capacity.

The S7 has 1 training station and 550+ exercise options. The T1-X has 4 training stations, 1600+ exercise options, and capacity for up to 3 people training at the same time in selected setups.

The S7 has a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. The T1-X Smith Machine supports up to 441 lb on the side sleeves, with an extended loading option up to 772 lb. The T1-X rear cable pulley carriages support up to 353 lb each.

The S7 includes built-in butterfly arms as part of the standard setup. On the T1-X, classic Pec Deck and Reverse Pec Deck training is available through Option A — Butterfly Arms, which is an optional add-on.

The S7 is much more compact. It needs about 40 sq ft of workout space, while the T1-X needs about 129 sq ft. That means the T1-X needs about 89 sq ft more, or roughly 220% more floor space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 69% less floor area than the T1-X.

The height difference is small. The S7 is about 7 ft 2.6 in high, while the T1-X is about 7 ft 4.6 in high.

Choose the S7 if compact size, integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, and one-person training are more important than maximum loading capacity and multi-user expansion. Choose the T1-X if you want a larger plate-loaded flagship system with Smith Machine training, rear cable capacity, guided sliding-carriage leg press and calf training, and broader RM / PRM / PR-X expansion.

How is the S7 different from the T2-X?

The S7 and T2-X are both more compact than the largest TYTAX machines, but they are built for different training styles. The S7 is a compact foldable one-station machine with integrated resistance. The T2-X is a compact TX-line plate-loaded machine with a Smith Machine.

The S7 has 1 training station and 550+ exercise options. The T2-X has 2 training stations, 1050+ exercise options, and capacity for up to 2 people training at the same time in selected setups.

The biggest difference is the training platform. The S7 focuses on compact integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulleys, lever-based leg and calf training, roller-lever movements, preacher curl work, pull-ups, and assisted pull-ups. The T2-X gives you a compact TX-style setup with Smith Machine training, plate-loaded guided barbell-style movements, leg press training, upper and lower cable pulley work, Olympic-bar exercises, lever-based exercises, stretching, preacher curl training, and pull-up bar training.

Butterfly training is an important difference. The S7 includes built-in butterfly arms as part of the standard machine setup. The T2-X does not include Butterfly Arms, and Butterfly Arms are not available as an optional add-on for this model.

The S7 is smaller and lighter to place in a compact room. The S7 weighs about 750 lb, while the T2-X weighs about 1,323 lb. The S7 needs about 40 sq ft of workout space, while the T2-X needs about 97 sq ft. That means the T2-X needs about 57 sq ft more, or roughly 140% more floor space than the S7.

Choose the S7 if you want the smallest foldable TYTAX setup with built-in resistance, built-in butterfly arms, and one-person training. Choose the T2-X if you want a compact TX-line machine with a Smith Machine, more exercise options, more station capacity, and heavier two-station construction.

How is the S7 different from the T3-X?

The S7 and T3-X are at opposite ends of the TYTAX range. The S7 is compact and foldable, while the T3-X is the largest professional TYTAX multi-station model.

The S7 has 1 training station and 550+ exercise options. The T3-X has 8 training stations, 1600+ exercise options, and capacity for up to 7 people training at the same time.

The S7 uses an internal resistance system with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. The T3-X is built as a much larger professional multi-station, plate-loaded training system with a Smith Machine, cable pulley stations, and multiple dedicated training areas.

Butterfly training is also different. The S7 includes built-in butterfly arms as standard. The T3-X can be equipped with Option A — Butterfly Arms as an optional add-on for Pec Deck and Reverse Pec Deck exercises.

The S7 needs about 40 sq ft of workout space. The T3-X needs about 215 sq ft. That means the T3-X needs about 175 sq ft more, or roughly 433% more floor space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 81% less floor area than the T3-X.

The height difference is small compared with the floor-space difference. The S7 is about 7 ft 2.6 in high, while the T3-X is about 7 ft 4.6 in high.

Choose the S7 if you want compact one-person training, integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, and a small home footprint. Choose the T3-X if you want the largest professional multi-user TYTAX setup with 8 stations, a Smith Machine, facility-style capacity, and maximum training layout.

How is the S7 different from the MX?

The S7 and MX are both compact TYTAX options, but they are designed for different users. The S7 is the smaller foldable one-station machine with integrated resistance, while the MX is a larger dual-arm two-station machine with independent training arms.

The S7 has 1 training station and 550+ exercise options. The MX has 2 training stations, 2 independent training arms, 1000+ exercise options, and capacity for up to 2 people training at the same time in selected setups.

The S7 focuses on compact integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulley work, lever-based leg and calf training, roller-lever movements, preacher curl work, pull-ups, and assisted pull-ups. The MX focuses on independent dual-arm training, upper and lower cable pulley work, leg press training, lever-based exercises, preacher curl training, hip adduction / abduction, and assisted pull-ups.

Butterfly training is an important difference. The S7 includes built-in butterfly arms as part of the standard machine setup. The MX does not include true Butterfly Arms for classic Pec Deck / Reverse Pec Deck training, either as standard equipment or as an optional add-on.

The S7 needs about 40 sq ft of workout space. The MX needs about 86 sq ft. That means the MX needs about 46 sq ft more, or roughly 113% more floor space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 53% less floor area than the MX.

The MX is lower at about 6 ft 10.7 in high, while the S7 is about 7 ft 2.6 in high. The height difference is about 4 in.

Choose the S7 if you want the smallest footprint, integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, and compact one-person training. Choose the MX if you want independent dual-arm training, more exercise variety, 2 training stations, and selected two-person training possibilities.

How is the S7 different from the H9?

The S7 is a compact foldable TYTAX machine with 550+ exercise options, 1 training station, built-in butterfly arms, and an internal weight-stack resistance system. The H9 is a more budget-friendly TYTAX machine with 100+ exercises, 2 training stations, a Smith Machine, rear cable stations, and selected workout setups that can allow up to 3 people to train at the same time.

The S7 has the lower built-in resistance ceiling, with a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. The H9 has higher barbell-style loading potential through the Smith Machine: up to 441 lb on the side sleeves, an extended loading option up to 772 lb, and rear cable pulley carriages that support about 198 lb each.

The S7 includes built-in butterfly-style training and is easier to place in a smaller room. The H9 is stronger if you want Smith Machine training, rear cable stations, selected multi-user possibilities, and higher barbell-style loading potential.

The S7 is more compact. The S7 needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. The H9 needs recommended workout room dimensions of about 9 ft 10.1 in × 9 ft 10.1 in, or about 97 sq ft. That means the H9 needs about 57 sq ft more, or roughly 140% more floor space than the S7. Put another way, the S7 needs about 58% less floor area than the H9.

Choose the S7 if you want the smallest compact TYTAX setup with integrated resistance and built-in butterfly arms. Choose the H9 if you want a more budget-friendly Smith Machine setup, rear cable stations, and selected multi-user workout possibilities.

Who is the TYTAX S7 best for?

The TYTAX S7 is best for users who want a compact full-body TYTAX machine for home gyms, apartments, bedrooms, living rooms, personal training spaces, or any everyday room where floor space matters. It is the best fit when you want one-person training, 550+ exercise options, integrated resistance, and a setup that is easier to place than the larger TX models.

The S7 is a strong choice if you want a compact machine with built-in butterfly arms, upper and lower pulley work, lever-based leg and calf training, roller-lever movements, preacher curl work, pull-ups, assisted pull-ups, and a maximum adjustable load of approximately 176 lb. It is built for practical full-body training without needing a large plate-loaded multi-station setup.

Compared with the T1-X, the S7 is better if compact size and integrated resistance are more important than maximum loading capacity, multi-user training, or the larger flagship upgrade path. The T1-X offers 4 training stations, 1600+ exercises, capacity for up to 3 people, a Smith Machine, guided sliding-carriage leg press and calf training, and broader add-ons such as RM, PRM, and PR-X. The S7 is the better fit when you want a much smaller one-person setup with standard butterfly-style training already built in.

Compared with the T2-X, the S7 is better if you want a single compact machine with built-in resistance and foldable storage instead of a compact TX-line plate-loaded system. The T2-X gives you 2 training stations, 1200+ exercises, and capacity for up to 2 people, so it is better if you want more TX-line training feel and more station capacity.

Compared with the T3-X, the S7 is for the opposite use case. The T3-X is a professional multi-user system with 8 training stations, 1600+ exercises, and capacity for up to 7 people in larger rooms, studios, schools, athletic departments, and facility-style spaces. The S7 is better when you want a compact home-focused setup rather than a large professional training platform.

Compared with the MX, the S7 is better if you want the smallest floor footprint, integrated resistance, and built-in butterfly arms. The MX is better if independent dual-arm training, 2 training stations, up to 2 people training at the same time, and lower machine height matter more than having the smallest floor footprint.

Compared with the H9, the S7 is better if you want a more compact foldable machine with built-in butterfly-style training and integrated resistance. The H9 is better if you want a more budget-friendly TYTAX machine with a Smith Machine, 100+ exercises, 2 training stations, selected setups for up to 3 people, and higher barbell-style loading potential.

The S7 is also best when room planning is tight. It needs about 8 ft 2.4 in × 4 ft 11.1 in, or about 40 sq ft of workout space. That is about 69% less floor area than the T1-X at about 129 sq ft, about 81% less than the T3-X at about 215 sq ft, about 54% less than the MX at about 87 sq ft, and about 60% less than the H9 at about 99 sq ft. Its height is about 7 ft 2.6 in.

In practical terms, choose the S7 if you want a compact, foldable, one-person TYTAX machine with integrated resistance, built-in butterfly arms, a small workout footprint, and full-body training in a regular home space. Choose T1-X, T2-X, T3-X, MX, or H9 instead if you need more stations, more users, plate-loaded Smith Machine training, independent dual-arm training, higher loading potential, a lower price point, or a larger long-term expansion path.
