How to find the motivation to exercise in your home gym?
This article is not for you if you are physically active and take care of your health on a daily basis. This article is also not for you if you expect a reward for exercising other than a better body and health. Furthermore, if you are happy, you do not need to continue reading. But are you really happy? The majority of us face failure, stress, frustration, and uncertainty, all of which overshadow our enjoyment of life. Furthermore, we all know that even in good times, happiness can be fleeting when life throws up too many roadblocks, such as illness, job loss, or marriage dissolution. So, what should we do? How do you find peace, joy, and fulfillment? If we ask a modern man what is most important in life, he will most likely say health.
The answer would have probably come up even more often if we have asked older people or hospital patients. We value health especially when we’ve lost it. Well-being people are happy.
Health is the biggest treasure we have
Should we wait until we are sick to appreciate our health? Everyone will say NO, but the majority of us will later act in ways that are harmful to our health. However, only reducing our smoking, drinking, or excessive eating would be sufficient and bring us closer to well-being. Still, we require more of our daily tasks and habits.
The issue is a lack of knowledge. We do not learn about health in school, and when we become adults and are responsible for ourselves, we believe we are too young to become ill. The fact is that there is a large percentage of young people today who have health issues. Obesity affects 20% of children (ages 2 to 19) and 42% of adults in the United States. Obesity is strongly linked to heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

You are not alone with your obesity; it is not a consolation. Many people who are overweight or obese would like to regain their ideal body weight. We suffer in silence because we have no idea how to achieve our goals. However, motivation to change is not the solution. When you realize that the most important aspect of life is living it, motivation should be present throughout your life.
Exercise…in a home gym!
Mark Twain once joked „Everybody talks about the water but nobody does anything about it”. Unfortunately, it also applies to exercise because we know it is the best remedy, but few of us do it on a regular basis.
What is the biggest problem of those who do not work out systematically? In my opinion lack of knowledge leads to a lack of motivation.
Consider these simple rules to help your home gym workouts become an important part of your life.
If you are young and your motivation is to build a dream body, you will need to develop motivation based on health benefits in the long run. You can build it on a foundation of knowledge that will keep you exercising for years to come. Youth is fleeting, and our aging process begins today.
Try to exercise at the same hour every time.
Try to stick to a weekly schedule of 3-4 workouts totaling 300 minutes of intense activity or 600 minutes of optimal activity.
Don't put exercises at the bottom of your priority list except in an emergency. Inform your family and friends that you will be working out on these days and at these times.
You can make efforts to convince your family or friends to exercise with you on a regular basis.
Consider your workouts to be serious business! It may sound lofty, but regular exercise can become the most important factor in your health in the long run.
It is sometimes required to skip your workout. If possible, avoid it, but if it occurs, don't be too worried.
Maintain variety in your workouts because boredom is your worst enemy. Would you force yourself to read or watch the same book or movie again? You probably wouldn't, so why would you do it with exercises? You would not consider other equipment if you had one of the TYTAX® models with such fantastic exercises. Many people consider fitness/exercise to be something they do when they have time, rather than something they do on a regular basis.
When you are exhausted or have children, exercising even in your home gym is difficult. But stay motivated and never dismiss your physical fitness as meaningless!
Being consistent is the key to success
It is hard to emphasize this, but without discipline, you will not establish a routine of exercising in your home gym and will most likely quit. You must prioritize your workouts and stick to your training plan. Set your own pace. If you work out 5 times a week for an hour, that is fantastic; 3 times is also good, but it is the bare minimum. You can also increase the duration and intensity of your workouts. Let's repeat once again - stick to the schedule! Your home gym's atmosphere will help. Hang some inspirational photos to motivate you to exercise. Write or print some quotes like:
„Exercise is the best medicine, it works every time.”
„Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.”
It was said by Plato. What we can add is that if you are not wealthy, you cannot afford to ignore your health. When you are rich, you have too much to lose if you do not exercise on a regular basis. That is why you should create a home gym and begin exercising because any physical activity is better than none!
